PFD WSL: Round 12 TOTW

GK- Margot Johnston (South Hobart)

Maintaining a clean sheet against one of the top contenders in the competition is no lean feat,

CB- Kayla Mason (Hobart Zebras)

The Zebras defence was consistently under the pump against Taroona and some rugged defending from Mason was vital to her side taking a point.

CB- Eleni Moutsatsos (South Hobart)

Read the play intelligently and helped the South defence hold out against a strong City side.

CB- Brooke Hernyk (Launceston City)

With some experience missing from the side, Hernyk stepped up and looked to make things happen for her side whilst defending well when called upon.

CM- Zoe Horgan (Taroona)

Ran the show in midfield and helped her side gain control of the game, was the general for her side and continues to impress week in week out.

CM- Georgia Foote (Ulverstone)

A brace for Foote as the Ulverstone unbeaten run continued, once again with the sisters running the show and doing the damage.

CM- Mady O’Brien (Clarence)

Three wins from their last three games, that timing is not a coincidence, O’Brien has brought with her a winning mentality and offered plenty in midfield.

AM- Emille Tatton (Kingborough)

Continues to impress with her dribbling skills and goal scoring threat, she scored once and threatened a second as she did everything she could to drag her side back.

RW- Lucy Reimer (Ulverstone)

Another goal for a consistent performer for the Reds this year who continues to offer clever movement and a goal threat to perfectly complement the sides big names.

LW- Melissa Harrison (Clarence)

Quite frankly too good for this level, Harrison has been a fantastic addition to the league and she scored both the sides goals against the Lions. The Clarence youngsters will definitely learn from playing alongside someone as talented as the Canadian.

ST- Lucy Johnson (Hobart Zebras)

Scored a sublime solo goal to earn her side a share of the spoils, taking it from one end to the other before smashing home a stunner.

Coach- Craig Westwood (South Hobart)

With the sides at the bottom end of the table starting to catch up to South, they turn around and duly beat Launceston City! It was a huge result and a wonderful way to bounce back from a heavy loss the week prior.
