-Further update, live stream won’t  be possible so it will just be updates, apologies for the limited coverage today, but this one was out of our control. Should still be able to have a pretty detailed blog if not accurate stats.

-Please note, Our Devonport Blogger has come down sick today so we are trying to get a basic live stream running which should hopefully be up shortly. Updates might be less frequent today as a result but we will keep you up to date with all the major happenings.

The current ladder leaders Devonport welcome Clarence to Valley Road. Coach Chris Gallo was very diplomatic last week stating it would be just as tough of a game for his side as the Warriors, but you would expect that from a coach looking to keep his sides eye on the prize. All games are not created equal though and the last placed side at home should be a far more comfortable affair than the pair of road trips they’ve faced the past fortnight and emerged from with 6 points. The Strikers just continue to roll on. The loss of Tyler Fischer simply saw Michael Holden assuming his role as yet another youngster in Liam Knott, slid seamlessly into the left wing back role. It doesn’t seem to matter who departs, they simply pluck another youngster out of the extremely impressive production line and plug them in. Knott joins the likes of Jack Dance, Jesse Dance, Eddie Bidwell and Henry Andrews as youth players who have made the jump this year, whilst Dom Smith at 18 years of age has been exemplary after moving to centre back. They may be young, but they have the belief and just keep getting the job done. Clarence meanwhile were competitive in the first half against Zebras before a soft goal before the half seemed to rattle their confidence as they fell away in the second half. They will need to bring the same intent they had in the first 20 minutes for the full 90 if they are to take anything away from a daunting trip North. They really looked to take the game on and run at the Zebras defence which they need to do if they are to start hitting the net with more regularity. Having scored just 2 goals in their past 6 games, being shut out 5 times, they need a lift in this area and someone to step up and assume the goal scoring load.
