88′ Grzinic wins the ball and rounds the keeper looking likely to score until B. Hernyk makes a crucial match-saving tackle.

City is really pushing for an equaliser here in the last 10 minutes. Throwing bodies forward.

81′ Fagan turns the defender and gets a shot away that forces a save from the keeper.

75′ A cross finds its way to Shegog who fights off a defender to get the shot away. However, the Clarence keeper rushes out to the striker to make an important save for her team.

71′ City fighting to get one back. Attacking down the right through Shegog and Fagan who wins another corner.

65′ GOAL! Clarence goes 1-0 up after O’Brien finds the net. B. Hernyk sees yellow in the aftermath.

63′ Fagan hits a powerful shot from just outside the 18-yard box that the keeper fumbles and scrambles to save again.

58′ After a winding run from Savill, she hits a weak shot from distance straight at the keeper.

53′ Bygrave shoots brilliantly, but the ball hits the crossbar and bounces back to Savill who puts it over under pressure.

51′ Fagan is found down the right and wins the corner. The corner is easily caught by the keeper.

46′ City attacking straight away down the right, putting in a brilliant cross to E. Hernyk. Hernyk manages to kick it into her own hand and gets pulled up for handball.

45′ We are back underway.

Halfway through the match and we’re locked at nil all. City has definitely been the more dominant team, creating more chances than their opponents and thwarting any attack that comes their way. Clarence seems to have seemed to focus playing more defensively, ensuring no goals go in. Thus far they have been successful.

40′ E. Hernyk grasps onto a through ball to go one-on-one with the keeper. The keeper rushes out to make a save. The resulting clearance falls to Bygrave who shoots from distance to try and catch the keeper out for being off her line. However, it goes just over the crossbar.

39′ Grzinic is tackled inside the box from behind. The Clarence supporters scream for a penalty but the referee declares it a corner.

38′ Bygrave puts in the corner for City but no one is able to get a shot away.

36′ Clarence get in behind the City defence but are outnumbered and lose the momentum.

31′ Hector grabs onto a loose ball about 30 yards out and lets a shot fly well over the crossbar.

29′ Some brilliant link-up play between E. Hernyk and Savill results in a shot that tests the Clarence keeper.

26′ B. Hernyk brings down Grzinic just inside the Clarence attacking half.

21′ Fagan puts in the corner, finding the head of Bygrave who heads it wide.

20 minutes in and City have had a majority of the attack. However, not looking threatening enough to get the initial goal. Their shooting has been relatively off target so far.

16′ The cross comes in from the right for City but E. Hernyk is unable to get enough on it.

10′ City win a freekick on the edge of the box. Steventon shoots but it’s just over the bar.

8′ Bygrave lobs the ball in behind the Clarence defence, but it has too much on it, just running away from Shegog.

6′ Savill looks to put in a cross from the right but sends it out for another goal kick.

4′ A corner is put in by City resulting in a header over the bar. Goal kick for Clarence.

3′ Launceston City having most of the attacking play in the first few minutes. E. Hernyk looked to attack down the left with a cross but it falls to the keeper.
