88′ GOAL The ball cannons off the post, eludes everyone and Hall comes in and slams it home to make it Launceston City 1-5 South Hobart
84′ Post! Darcy Hall who’s made a real difference when he’s came on is played through and dribbles into the box, he shoots near post it’s beaten Clark with power but it’s off the post!
81′ Nice passage of play linking up well in the midfield and then switching it ends up with Campbell on the right but all the good work is undone with the cross sailing behind the goal.
78′ A cross from City is played into the box it rolls to the last person you’d want to strike it in Nathan Butler. He gets it all wrong as a centre defender usually does!
Double sub for City On: Hancox, Bartlett Off: Kelly, Dorazio
70′ GOAL Darcy Hall with no other option but to shoot from long it’s blocked by Butler but it takes a wicked defelction goalward and over Clark and in the back of the net. Launceston City 1 – South Hobart 4
Things are heating up here! City have sparked into life and have all the play right now. If they can get another back it could make things interesting time will tell. South are always dangerous on the counter though and are just as likely to score.

64′ GOAL City gets one back! The ball hits the post and Noah Mies is on the back post unmarked with an empty net to tap in! Launceston City 1 – South Hobart 3

63′ Walter is played through and with only Clark to beat but the big man saves well!

62′ Williams finds himself in a pocket of space in the South Hobart box but his effort is
well over.

55′ GOAL Darcy Hall makes an immediate impact on his return to South with a cross into the front post area finding Walter who’s shot goes over Clark and into the net. Launceston City 0 – South Hobart 3

South have started the better to this second half continuing the trend from the first half when City started quite slow.

52′ Sub for South On: Hall Off: Quaile

Sub for City at half time On: Thorne Off: Rossetto

46′ South out of the blocks quickly from the restart. Walter skips a few and with a good chance to make it 3 nil but it’s at Clark and he saves with his feet.

Half Time: Launceston City 0 – South Hobart 2 (Turner, Hamlett)

42′ Sub for South On: Schmidt Off: Hamlett

City have enjoyed their fair share of the play in the last 5 minutes as tempers flare with Quaile feeling hard done by from a decision from the ref.

30′ GOAL Walter who’s looked dangerous the last 10 minutes on the left whips another cross in and Hamlett this time gets on the scoresheet with a volley that goes into the top corner!

25′ Hamlett finds himself all alone but to the bemusement of the City defenders at how it wasn’t offside he has only Clarke to beat still in acres of space but Clark comes up big and saves conceding the corner!

23′ Walter who’s starting to stamp his mark on the game goes around a few on the left and whips a cross in, it bounces once and Kemp is there but his volley effort is just over! City under the pump!

21′ Walter passes to the oncoming Morton who unleashes a little rocket at goal, it’s powerful and Clark spills it but he does enough to put Hamlett off on the rebound and out for a goal kick!

18′ Hamlett tries to get around a few defenders and create some space just outside the box, gets a shot off but it’s tame at Clark. Meanwhile the ball rebounds quickly up the other end and Noah Mies has a glorious chance to draw this game level but his shot from a tight angle is straight at Brown!

12′ Hamlett makes a jinking run ignoring Morton in the process and decides to fire from just outside the box it’s a powerful left foot drive but Clark gets a hand on it and out for a corner.

10 minutes gone and it’s a fairly even contest after South’s early goal. South probably the more pressing side but neither side able to make clear cut chances.

1′ GOAL  South Hobart press forward and get into the box early and it falls to Jack Turner and he bundles it home! Great start by South they were happy to get that early one!

Kick off!
