Olympia v Clarence (WSL)

FINAL

OLYMPIA 3

CLARENCE 1

Olympia look determined to put their tumult behind them and they put Taroona to the sword, smashing them 6-1 midweek as Lucy Johnson ran riot and fired in a classy hat-trick. It came just days after downing Launceston City 5-2 on the road, so they are clearly back to their best and showing why only the Zebras have managed to beat them this season. It doesn’t bode well for Clarence who are searching for a way off the bottom of the table and have lost their last four games. Their best chance for that appears to be the final day against University but whilst points are unlikely here, there is no love lost between these sides and they will want to remain competitive. Having made themselves hard to break down in the previous pair of games against the Warriors they will not want to make things easy for the in form Warriors this time around though the form line of Olympia makes them a terrifying proposition.
