86- SUB- Jones replaces Belstead.

83′ Shot on! Hall stretches and guides one straight at Kamara from close range after a teasing cross.

80′ Shot on! Turner chests it down for Morton who runs onto it and drives one on target that Kamara makes a brilliant save from.

79′ Shot on! Kamara shuts down the near post where Hamlett tried to squeeze it through on the angle from close range.

77′ SUB- Lokoes on for Lane

72′ Crossbar! A Kemp free kick to the back post is headed into the crossbar by Jack Turner, typically winning a header in the 6 yard box.

67′ Save! Kamara somehow keeps out a Darcy Hall shot that looked destined for the bottom corner. Outstanding save.

66′ Shot on! Hammertime with some mazy dribbling skills that ends with a tame shot on target, incredible run though.

65′ Slices of Cheese! Kemp and Gorrie both in the book, for dissent in Kemp’s case and for retaliation in Gorrie’s case after he had been curedly scythed down by Belstead who somehow escapes a slice himself.

SUB- Hamlett replaces Feral

62′ GOAL! 5-0! From one end to another in the blink of an eye, Hall puts it on a platter for Walter at the back post who taps home.

61′ Shot on! Kamara gets down to deny Kemp after some scintillating build up play from Hall and Turner.

60′ Shot on! Brown denies Belstead after Harms and Bastock linked up well to feed it to him.

57′ Shot off! Darcy Hall can’t direct his header from the corner goalward.

SUBS- Lions replace Davis with Harms and South bring on Quaile for Schmidt.

55′ Shot off! Darcy Hall with another blast from range, well over the top.

54′ Shot on! A sharp save from Brown to deny, Lane on the turn, showed tremendous reflexes.

50′ GOAL! 4-0! A Kemp free kick deflects into the path of Brown at the back post and he slides it home.

47′ Shot off! A drive from Hall for range is over the bar.

46′ Play back underway, 45 minutes away from confirmation of South as League Champions. An immediate shot from kick off is straight down the throat of Kamara.

45′ Shot off! Kemp’s immaculate free kick delivery is just nodded over the bar by Turner as he beat Kamara to the ball.

44′ Slice of Cheese! Wakefield steps in on Schmidt to stop him storming past and he enters the book.

42′ GOAL! 3-0! Adam Gorrie swings in a perfect cross from Hall to tap from close range, took the defence completely out of the picture with his ball in.

38′ Shot blocked! A scuffed effort from Hall after another storming run from Gorrie who crossed it in.

31′ Shot on! Twoce Kemp is denied by Kamara, the first a shot along the ground, then moments later a glancing header. This is pure domination.

30′ Shot off! Kemp volleys wide after Kamara punched it away from Morton.

29′ Shot off! Darcy Hall within inches with his drive across the face, maybe took a bobble which just took it wide. The chance was again forged by the Kemp/Gorrie combination down the right.

27′ Shot off! A short corner is played back to Kemp who crosses into the box where Brown heads it over the bar.

25′ A lunging block from Nugent prevents a Tuner shot and likely goal.

20′  Shot off! More sumptuous build up play from South leads to Morton firing one narrowly across the face of goal.

18′ GOAL! 2-0! Turner releases Gorrie down the right, he crosses near post and Morton is there to volley home!

16′ Shot off! Ludford’s glancing header from a perfectly weighted Kemp free kick is narrowly wide, made great contact with it.

14′ GOAL! 1-0! Hall with a clever backheel to release Morton into the box who races onto it and puts it into the bottom corner.

12′ A dangerous corner leads to an aerial duel in the 6 yard box and the Lions eventually clear it. Leads to another one which Turner scuffs an effort wide from.

11′ Shot on! Davis with the outside of the boot fashions a shot that is flying top corner but Brown is strong in the air to claim it.

9′ Shot on! Hall collects and fires on the turn but doesn’t make clean contact and it rolls to Kamara.

8′ Shot off! Morton with a cross or maybe a shot, either way agonisingly across the face and Walter can’t get a foot on it.

7′ Shot off! A dangerous corner leads to a Turner shot from close range but he skies his left footed effort over the bar. Had about 7 Lions defenders in the six yard box, so had to go high.

5′ A few fresh air attempts early from South Hobart and some dangerous crosses that haven’t found a target, but it’s all South early, they are dominating possession and probing despite playing into a strong wind.

1′ Kick off, we are underway at Darcy Street.

Welcome to Darcy Street for what looms as coronation day, with South Hobart needing just three points to wrap up the title. They will want to put on a show for their home crowd though as well as look to extend their winning streak, which currently sits at 11, equal with Devonport’s League record from last season. So a win not only secures the title, but the longest winning streak in League history. A lot of young faces have been blooded for this Lions side in recent weeks, which will serve them well in years to come, but it has made things extremely tough for this year and it’s hard to see them keeping out this rampant South Hobart side who have already put them to the sword twice this year.
