1′ Kick off, underway under sunny skies at KGV.

Welcome to KGV for what should be a cracking game of football between two of the top four. The Strikers have climbed to the top of the table but their schedule is about to get seriously tough as in the next 7 weeks they play Olympia twice, Zebras twice as well as South Hobart and only 1 of those top 4 clashes are played at the Portress. They proved when they beat South Hobart 2-0 they can mix it with the best, but doing it on the road is another matter. Their title winning side were the Road Warriors, but does the 2017 version have the same mettle? We’re about to find out and their first obstacle today is a Hobart Zebras side that is in free fall. After storming to the top of the table, they have now won just one game from their last six, lost their coach Peter Savill, lost their set piece maestro Chris Downes and their loss to the Lions last Friday leaves them 7 points adrift from the summit. New coach Tommy Fotak has his hands full getting them back on track and it won’t be easy against a strong Devonport side. They need a response today, can they produce it? Lets find out
