GK- Amelia Vanderniet (Clarence)

A huge performance in net, she pulled off a number of big saves to keep out the City attack and secure a famous upset for the reds.

CB- Selina Steventon (Launceston City)

City controlled most the game and restricted Clarence to very few chances with Steventon holding the line well and consistently winning the ball back.

CB- Eleni Moutsatsos (South Hobart)

Composed for South and defended well as her side maintain the clean sheet, stopping a dangerous Lions attack led by Davis.

CM- Kaitlin Casey (University)

Casey did well in midfield for the Students, she worked hard to win the ball and passed it around nicely to try spring the counter attacks.

CM- Mady O’Brien (Clarence)

Has made a promising start to her Clarence career, playing a major role in their stunning 1-0 win over City, charging forwards to finish off what would prove the match winner.

CM- Lucy Foote (Ulverstone)

Another week, another dominant showing from Foote in midfield. She wins the ball and then sends it through to Gorrie time after time, and more often than not it seems to result in a goal.

AM- Samantha Watkins (Kingborough)

Looked the Lions biggest threat and was tidy on the ball, moving it around nicely and beating defenders with her mazy dribbling skills.

LW- Eliane Fader (South Hobart)

Forced the goal with her ball into the box and was a constant threat throughout the game, getting in behind and looking her sides biggest threat.

RW- Lucy Johnson (Hobart Zebras)

A couple of long range bombs from the ever eye catching Johnson, her ability to smash the ball from seemingly any distance is top drawer and she gave a perfect reminder of it.

ST-Danielle Kannegiesser  (Hobart Zebras)

Added plenty of spark in attack and offered a major threat from wide areas throughout the game, her return has been important for the Zebras uptick in form.

ST- Jazmin Gorrie (Ulverstone)

Another week, another brace and they were two decisive strikes, firing her side to a crucial victory over the Pirates to move Ulverstone 6 points clear.

Coach- Chris Chalker (Clarence)

Without a win and rooted to the foot of the table, Chalker got his side up to down the second placed City who had previously thumped them. A stunning turn around and a well coached game.
