90′ Clarence win a freekick on the left. It’s cleared by Turner and the follow-up shot is off target.

89′ Linger spends roughly 30 seconds on a solo run and eventually manages to find space to cross to Fischer who blasts it over.

86′ GOAL – Mies rounds the keeper and finishes into an open net. 7-0

82′ GOAL – Dyer for City makes it 6-0.

Substitution for City. Aldridge & Dyer ON. Cartwright & Wicks OFF. Two substitutions for Clarence.

69′ Ercan finds himself in the middle of the park with the ball and sprays a beautiful ball towards Sanchez on the left wing.

62′ GOAL – A cross is played towards the back post for City and Fischer finds himself on the end of it with a sublime volley.

59′ Fischer plays the ball out to Linger who plays a first time pass inside to Wicks. He shoots across goal and the outstretched Mies can’t put it into the back of the net.

57′ Mies controls a cross with his chest but is under too much pressure to get the shot on target.

54′ Fischer with another powerful shot, this time forcing Dyson to make a diving save.

48′ 4-0 to City through Fischer. The striker hits an incredibly powerful shot that left Dyson with no hope of saving.

47′ Fischer crosses to the back post but it only just misses the head of Wicks

Second half underway

Halftime and as many expected, City have the lead. Clarence has rarely looked like scoring, with most of the attacking play coming from City. Turner is having an exceptional game down back, not letting anything through. Fischer also looks dangerous alongside Wicks and Mies.

42′ Bremner hits a header wide at the back post after a corner.

40′ City give away two fouls in quick succession in their own half. Ercan puts a free-kick too high a far for anyone to get on the end of.

39′ Fischer evades two tackles on his way into the box and puts a shot over.

35′ Price has a shot from distance but Giantsopoulos covers it easily.

33′ GOAL – Mies controls the ball just outside the area before cutting in onto his favoured left to curl one into the bottom left. 3-0 to City.

25′ Clarence attack down the right through Sanchez but there’s no one in the box to latch onto the end of his cross.

20′ Ercan throws the ball away after not being awarded the throw in. Somehow he’s escaped a slice of cheese.

18′ Clarence win a free kick directly in front after a foul. The free kick forces a Giantsopoulos save and the follow-up is hit wide.

So far Turner has been unstoppable in defence. The young City defender proving pivotal for the side early on, and looking for a third team of the week nomination in a row.

13′ GOAL – Turner makes an interception from the defence which leads to Fischer playing Cartwright through who cooly places it past the keeper. 2-0 to City.

12′ City placing the corners very close to Dyson in an attempt to force an error from the Clarence keeper.

6′ GOAL – Millington puts one away from close range after a corner.

4′ City have the first corner of the game. Fischer puts it straight into the keeper’s path.

1′ Turner plays a fantastic ball from the centre of defence into the path of Fischer who dribbles it out.
