27′ Tremendous kick save from Johnson to deny Lazcano, after a scramble in the box.

25′ Devonport have had more of the ball but Olympia have produced the 2 best chances.

21′ Save! A lovely counter attack from Olympia leads to N’Koso feeding Gurson who races in on the angle and fires, but is denied by Pitchford.

11′ SAVE! Pitchford does well to deny a Gurson header after a fine chipped ball from Wadawu.

8′ The Strikers doing the bulk of the early attacking but have not much to show for it bar a couple of shots that were well wide from Krusa and Holden.

1′ Kick off we are underway.

The Warriors are the only side outside of the top four to have taken points off the Strikers this season, claiming a 1-1 draw way back in Round 2. It remains the Warriors only result against a top four side this season, but could history repeat? The other 3 title contenders will sure hope so, with Devonport now leading by 5-6 points, the only way they lose the title from here is if they drop points in multiple games. Whilst Olympia haven’t been able to get the results against the top sides, they’ve threatened and with a fully fit Lucas Hill back in full flight and a goalscorer like Gordon Gurson, they have the weapon to cause the upset and really inject some life into the title race. As it stands, even if Devonport were to lose to both South Hobart and the Hobart Zebras, whilst they could drop below City in that scenario, their goal difference would still have them ahead of the 2 Southern sides, so if they take 3 points here, it’s one giant step closer to the crown.
